BAK Battery Launches ENDURO S+ Liquid-Cooled Integrated Cabinet for Commercial and Industrial Use, Creating a Safe, Efficient, and Flexible Energy Storage System

Since 2024, global demand for commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage has continued to surge, becoming a new highlight in the energy storage industry. According to data from the Energy Storage Application Branch of the China Chemical and Physical Power Industry Association, in the first half of 2025, newly installed C&I energy storage systems on the user side reached 1.4GW/3.4GWh, marking a year-on-year increase of 66.10% and 58.39%, respectively. The main demand for C&I energy storage is gradually expanding from simple peak-valley arbitrage to include emergency backup power, energy saving, emission reduction, and lowering electricity costs.
Against this backdrop, BAK Battery has launched the ENDURO S+ liquid-cooled integrated energy storage cabinet for commercial and industrial applications. It is equipped with BAK’s self-developed 314Ah high-capacity cell, featuring a long cycle life of 10,000 cycles, an impressive energy density of 190Wh/kg, 2P high power capability, and over 95% discharge efficiency. The system has also passed nail penetration tests, ensuring safety and reliability.
The BAK ENDURO S+ adopts a highly integrated modular design, achieving a system discharge efficiency of over 92%. Each cabinet offers a capacity of 261kWh while occupying only 1.3㎡ of space—about 27% less than traditional double-door cabinets. The system supports flexible expansion and parallel connection, allowing up to ten units to operate together, making it adaptable for various applications such as industrial parks, shopping malls, office buildings, and charging stations. In terms of safety, the system is equipped with multiple fire protection layers and intelligent monitoring, offering multi-level protection from the PACK to the cabin level, along with 24/7 remote monitoring to effectively prevent potential risks.
At the same time, the ENDURO S+ serves both emergency and efficiency enhancement purposes. It supports both grid-connected and off-grid modes, ensuring uninterrupted power supply for critical equipment. Through peak shaving, valley filling, and demand management, it helps users reduce long-term electricity costs. With a lifespan of up to 15 years and a payback period of just 3–4 years, it achieves both cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
