On September 9 local time, Sunwoda made a global debut of its 684Ah and 588Ah energy storage cells at RE+ 25. With innovative technology, the company introduced a high-capacity cell product portfolio to deliver more efficient and reliable energy storage solutions for power generation, grid-side, and end-user applications.

684Ah Energy Storage Cell with Stacking Technology Leads in High Energy Density and System Integration
The 684Ah energy storage cell from Sunwoda adopts advanced stacking technology, achieving a volumetric energy density of over 440+ Wh/L, making it stand out among products of similar specifications. By integrating an innovative “thermal-electric separation” design with a three-dimensional cooling structure, it fundamentally optimizes the thermal management pathway, significantly enhancing operational safety and long-term reliability.
In terms of performance, the 684Ah cell delivers a lifespan of more than 20 years, meeting long-term operational demands. Notably, it offers excellent system integration adaptability, compatible with 10-foot, 20-foot, and 30-foot containerized solutions. Its high energy density and integrated design reduce container deployment by 27% and simplify assembly processes, lowering initial investment costs. With high energy density and easy installation and maintenance, it reduces the levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) by 8% compared to traditional solutions, while improving deployment speed and operational efficiency. The product is scheduled for mass production in Q4 2025 to meet market demand.

588Ah Energy Storage Cell with Mature Winding Process for Long Cycle Life and High Efficiency
The 588Ah energy storage cell adopts a proven winding process combined with innovative low-lithium-loss technology to effectively address capacity fade during long-term operation. It achieves a cycle life of up to 10,000 cycles @70% SOH, ensuring a service life of over 20 years and outstanding cost-effectiveness throughout its lifecycle.
This product delivers an energy efficiency of up to 96.5%. Supported by high-safety electrolytes and a directional exhaust channel design, it ensures system stability and safety while further reducing the LCOE, making it an excellent choice for applications with high economic performance requirements.
