From June 3 to 5, the 19th International Solar Photovoltaic and Smart Energy Conference & Exhibition (SNEC 2026) was grandly held. In the field of source-grid energy storage, the flagship BYD Haohan has a capacity of 14.5MWh, equipped with the world's largest 2710Ah blade battery dedicated to energy storage. This represents more than a 300% increase compared to conventional industry capacities. With a Vcts volumetric utilization of 52.1%, a 20-foot container can achieve an equivalent capacity of 10MWh. Energy storage stations of the same scale require fewer containers, less land, and streamlined management. The system features IP66-level protection, capable of withstanding extreme environments including deserts, droughts, strong winds, high temperatures, humidity, and saline corrosion, setting a new technological benchmark in global energy storage.
The new generation GC Flux PCS and GC Master EMS, also showcased at the event, form the "power heart and intelligent brain" of energy storage systems. The GC Flux PCS covers a power range of 2.5-10MW, with a maximum area power density over 38% higher than the industry average and a peak overload capacity three times for 10 seconds. It supports both grid-following and grid-forming modes, with all core indicators leading the industry. The GC Master EMS can manage tens of millions of connection points, 25% higher than the industry’s top level, with a 400% increase in system computing power compared to the highest industry standards. Paired with the large-capacity BYD Haohan, it can manage a single station of up to 15GWh.

During the exhibition, BYD Energy Storage received multiple authoritative certifications, further endorsing its industry benchmark status. The BYD Haohan passed rigorous CSA Group evaluations and received UL 1973, UL 9540, and UL 9540A certifications, fully meeting technical and safety requirements for the North American energy storage market. The MC Cube-T Pro BESS obtained GB/T 44026 certification, while the GC Flux PCS energy storage converter earned GB/T 34120 and GB/T 34133 national standard certifications, as well as TĂśV international certification. These certifications signify that BYD Energy Storage products meet the highest international standards, solidifying the quality foundation for global expansion.
